THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving Day was so much fun. We stayed in Utah this year and had it at my in-laws house. We started the party with eating the yummy Thanksgiving dinner. Then the kids had a ton of fun playing together while the adults talked and looked through the ad's. Later in the day the men decided to play a game and a couple of us girls decided we would take off to see Twilight. We really had fun at the movie and I was so excited to finally see it. Well it was such a wonderful day full of yummy food and great family to be thankful for. Here are a few of the pictures we took that day. Wyatt had so much fun playing with all his cousins. He didn't want the day to end. We love you all!!! I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband, son and family!

SUMMER VACATION
This post is long past due, but I want to post some pictures of the fun things we did this summer. This summer we had the opportunity to go to California and see my family. We spent 3 nights in San Diego and than 4 nights at my parents house. We were able to go to Seaworld, Legoland, the beach, and Disneyland. It was so much fun. Here are a few pictures from our vacation.

Summer is Here!!
We are finished with the pre-service training classes for foster care. The classes were very informative and we are really glad we had the opportunity to take them.
We are now just looking forward to our vacation. We leave early Sunday morning for a week in California. We spend 3 nights in San Diego and then 4 nights and my parents house. We are going to Seaworld, Legoland, Disneyland, and the beach. We are so excited. Only 3 days to go!!
Summer is here!! Wyatt just finished the 1st grade. He is excited for the summer and the vacations he will be able to go on. We are going to spend sometime in August with Shane's family. We are taking the annual camping trip to Marsh Lake. If anyone really knows me then you know that I hate to tent camp. But it is fun to be with Shane's family.
We hope everyone is looking forward to a great summer and some warm weather. We sure are!!

We have been married for 3 1/2 years and the time has gone by so fast. We currently moved into our 3rd place together. We decided that we would rent a townhouse for a while to save money so Shane could go back to school and get his college degree. Shane starts school fall semester and will be majoring in Geography and minoring in Zoology. We are excited for him to start and for him to get his degree.
Most of you know that we have been trying to add to our family for the past couple of years and have not been sucessful. We talked about adoption and all of our different options. We started classes to become foster parents. We have 8 classes to attend and then we will graduate and at the same time there is a process to go through to be licensed. We have a background check, home inspection and the list goes on. It will probably be a good 6 months for the process to be completed. We are very excited to start this chapter of our lives and care for a child that is in need of love and a place to call home.
In this blog we will keep you updated on us and also on Wyatt and all the fun things he is doing. Wyatt is ending the first grade this month. He is very smart and is above average in every subject. He is an excellent reader. Wyatt is also playing soccer for his second year and is doing really well at it. He is signed up to play again next year. Soccer helps him to get some of his energy out. He fills our house with so much joy.
